"THE ART OF THE PITCH: THE AGENT'S TAKE" with Jim Arnoff

Jim Arnoff, a Television Packaging Agent representing New York production companies (reality, documentary, non-fiction and scripted) in developing and selling original programming to the networks and new media, took the time to teach classes in LA and NYC to VME members. He spoke to members in LA and NYC about the anatomy of a pitch, whether it's your film, your television series or your services and it takes to do a successful pitch.   He shared what it really takes to make a powerful pitch, what pitfalls to avoid at all costs, and how to master the art of pitching with your own style, personality, and brand.  Jim also gave information on the agent’s top 10 tips for pitching with conviction and results, how to prepare for a pitch, how to read the person you’re pitching, how to pitch as a team, how to engage in the room and how to anticipate every question.  JIM ARNOFF’S BIO:
